Community Involvement
For Laura, health flourishes where people come together. She sees community as a vital part of well-being — a space where knowledge is shared, support is given freely, and everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Her work in Santa Cruz is rooted in building these connections, creating spaces where care, education, and access weave together to uplift the whole community.

In the past, Laura has taught health classes in both Santa Cruz and Spain, working with a wide range of groups — from curious kids to busy families and women seeking deeper self-care. These experiences have strengthened her belief that community learning is just as powerful as individual healing.
